EcoFan 812 Brass - Wood Stove Fan The Ecofan 812 wood stove fan is a heat powered (thermoelectric) fan designed to move the warm air that stays near the fire and rises to the ceiling to other parts of the room ensuring the heat is evenly distributed. This fan does NOT requires batteries.

The new blade has been design by aircraft engineers to move the warm air more efficiently due to the improved aerodynamic blade perfected in a wind tunnel. This new blade moves air in horizontal columns, the net result is warm is larger concentrations of warm air.

Ecofans start automatically and adjust speed with the stove temperature.

How the Ecofan Works

The Ecofan have a thermoelectric module which acts as a small generator to power the fan's motor. When this generator experiences a heat differential between its top and bottom surfaces, it pumps out electricity. The bottom surface of the module is heated by the base of the fan while the top of the module is kept cooler by the fan's top cooling fins. Ecofans are made from anodised aluminium that will not rust. Bi-metal strips in the base of the Ecofans help prevent the fan from overheating. Ecofans are economical to run and will help to move hot air from your stove into other parts of the room / house.
